Greg Anthony (born November 15, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada) is a previous NBA basketball player.
The Sestet'Two" (1.88 m) point guard and defensive specialist, Anthony played in the NBA from 1991-2002. Greg, a graduate of Rancho High School, played college ball for Portland University before transferring after his freshman year to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In his junior season with UNLV, the Runnin' Rebels won the 1990 NCAA Championship game over Duke. This team also included Stacey Augmon and Larry Johnson.
Anthony was drafted by the New York Knicks in the first round of the 1991 NBA Draft. He served as a backup point guard and defensive specialist for the New York Knicks until 1995, when he was picked up by the Vancouver (now Memphis) Grizzlies. After a decent career, in which Greg also played for Seattle, Portland, and Milwaukee, he retired in 2002.
Anthony currently works as an NBA analyst on ESPN and ABC for their NBA broadcasts.
